Delivery specifications
With printing, the quality of the final product is heavily dependent on the quality of the supplied digital files. In our price estimates we assume that you provide us with a print-ready PDF file. For us to be of the best service to you, we ask you kindly to read through the following specifications and act accordingly and/or inform your desktop publishing department or external provider of these.
Submitting digital files
This manual contains the technical information for the submission of print-ready PDF files and the installation and use of the Lijnco Distiller-profile and the Lijnco Certified-profile. The manual is meant for your desktop publishing department or external provider.
If the submitted document by you is not print-ready, we will work with you to find a solution.
If we have to format your (editable) file for printing, we will charge an additional fee. The fee is € 75 for the first 30 minutes and € 25 for every 15 minutes thereafter, excluding VAT. This is based on actual costs.
If we have to correct or make changes to your file, we will charge an additional fee of € 50 for the first 30 minutes and € 25 for every 15 minutes thereafter, excluding VAT. This is based on actual costs.
Of course, we never charge additional fees if your files are correctly submitted the first time.
FSC
If you want to have the FSC logo printed on your FSC order, please first contact us so we can send you the right logo for this order. You may only use this logo with the FSC printing job agreed under contract. The use of the logo is subject to some conditions regarding colour, size, etc.
We will charge € 50 if we have to insert the FSC logo.
Submitting digital data
The manual contains the technical information for the submission of variable Barcode and 2D Code and variable data for personalised mailings such as address files, letter texts, variable logos and images.
For processing the files we charge a standard fee of € 50. The processing costs for file enrichment, such as adding a KIX code, amount to € 75 per job.
Digital samples
You will receive a digital sample of your digital file in the form of a PDF file. One cannot judge whether the colours are right using the digital sample. If you want to receive a physical sample then you can request one via your order manager. This can affect the lead time.
After your approval, we will start carrying out the job.
