The Grote Clubactie: thinking along pays off on all fronts

The Grote Clubactie will start in mid-September. Every year, members of 6,000 associations knock on doors to sell as many lottery tickets as possible for their club. In addition to the secure lottery tickets, Lijnco now also supplies all other lottery printed matter: sales booklets, letters, posters, return boxes and ticket meters.

Situation

If you want to give enthusiastic club members the chance to sell as many lottery tickets as possible, you have to make it as attractive and easy as possible. The old sales booklet of the Grote Clubactie, containing door seals, thank-you notes and space to fill in buyer data, was outdated and unclear. The booklet did not fit with what the Grote Clubactie and its partners want to radiate and - very important - it did not stimulate sales.

Client's wishes

The Grote Clubactie was looking for partners who could come up with solutions for:
a user-friendly sales booklet with a contemporary look that stimulates sales
handling printed matter: production, storage and distribution to 6,000 associations

Lijnco approach

Lijnco mapped out the situation in the preliminary phase. What quantities are needed per association? How does the size of the association relate to the number of sales booklets required? What else do they need: return box, lot meter, posters, lottery tickets... Lijnco proposed an automated approach, where all items could be produced in a smart sequence, with the right quantities and combinations. In this way we were able to limit the handling and thus save costs and time.

Choice: Lijnco thinks along

Marijke Soeter is marketing and communication coordinator at the Grote Clubactie. She explains why Lijnco was chosen for this complicated job. “The deciding factor was Lijnco's ability to think along. They clearly aimed to give us the smartest and best deal. You really notice that you are sitting at the table with experts with an enormous amount of experience in the field of special printing.” In the end, Lijnco was not only commissioned to produce the sales booklet; the rest of the printing work was also entrusted to us. Marijke Soeter: “When we noticed during our discussions that Lijnco also had good ideas about handling, we also transferred that part of the assignment here. Very nice that all this can be done under 1 roof.” In this way, the Grote Clubactie was able to carry out a complete renovation, within the budget and the available time. The printed matter was also traceable due to the addition of barcodes, which enabled us to guarantee that every association always received the correct order.

Solution: perforations

In the end, the solution for the sales booklet turned out to be simple: tear perforations. A smart combination of entry box, thank you letter and door seal on one page. The proven concept of the checkbook, but in a new, fresh look. The result: no more searching for the right form, buyers who receive all the information and partner information that stands out. And very important: sellers who are encouraged to also sell those last three lots!
